Sacramento Autorama 2016

I missed last years Autorama...so decided to pony up the 20 dollars ( and 10 dollars for parking ) and see what was happening in the custom car world. For now I'll just post up some pics without much wordage...possibly get back to that later...

You meet the nicest people ...in Nash Metropolitans. These young ladies were part of an owners group that had some nicely done cars

"Hillclimber" A Model T frame with Model A parts...

This is a car my friend Denis purchased recently...

It's a Model T frame set up with motor and transmission and running gear from a Model A

The person he purchased it from, suggested he pick up a Model A frame to swap the parts into... 

But, Denis likes the look and envisions a minimal body....not much more than a seat and some sort of 'bonnet'....his pops said "chitty-chitty-bang-bang"...

I kind of like that idea, but maybe with some frame strengthening....

It will be interesting to see what developes...in the mean time it has got me thinking about my own T project...
