Model T's spotted...

During work a few weeks ago I spotted this old truck from my work truck , as I pulled into a Lowes "box store' in Folsom California. This is a 1926 Ford Model TT truck, which is the heavy duty truck of it's day.

The last time I had seen this truck was years ago, when it was bolted to the roof of the old Towe Ford Museum in Sacramento. The museum is now a Transportation museum run by the state. A lot of the old Fords from the Towe collection are still there.

I should have some pics from the museum to post sometime.

These heavy duty steel wheels are from a 1928 version.

I love the spartan simplicity of the dash board.

A side view. This is now a daily driver of the gentleman who currently owns it.

In another part of Folsom, spotted this old touring car....waiting for restoration. Not sure what it is, thinking it's from the twenties...with the wood spoke wheels.

About a week ago I spotted this Model T pickup truck from my work truck....this time in Rancho Cordova. Last time I'd seen this one the top was up. I'll see about looking up some more pics of this one to post.

Here they are...from earlier in the Winter.

What do I spot ahead as I'm busy checking out the Hotrod Chevy...?

Yes...it's an old Ford Model T pickup truck motoring along...

Caught up to him as he was waiting to turn into a shopping center. I have talked to him before, and this is his daily driver.
